THURSO SURF All-Around SUP

THURSO SURF All-Around SUP

Description

The THURSO SURF Inflatable Stand Up Paddle Board All-Around SUP is the perfect choice for beginners and intermediate/advanced paddlers. With its touring shape, it offers extra paddling speed while maintaining the stability of an all-around board. The board's size of 11' x 32'' x 6'' is ideal for carrying a dog, practicing yoga, or fishing. It weighs only 26 lbs and has a recommended maximum capacity of 160-210/330 lbs.

THURSO SURF inflatable SUP boards boast the strongest iSUP structure available on the market. They feature Double Layer construction, with a woven drop-stitch inner core and a Military Grade outer PVC tarpaulin layer. The side rails are reinforced with PVC seams to prevent delamination, and carbon reinforcement rails make the board even more rigid. These features make THURSO SURF SUP boards durable, stiff, light, and perform like hardboard.

The included Carbon shaft paddle sets the THURSO SURF package apart. It is far superior to aluminum or fiberglass paddles as it is stronger, lighter, and even floats when assembled. The blade is made of a tough carbon-nylon hybrid composite that is strengthened by a center rib to prevent warping. The shaft and blade lock together securely, eliminating separating or twisting. The paddle is adjustable from 71'' to 87'' and can be converted to a kayak paddle with an extra blade (sold separately).

Details matter to THURSO SURF, and they take pride in including premium accessories in all of their SUP packages. The Dual Chamber Triple Action pump is 100% faster than a single chamber pump, saving you time and energy when getting ready to paddle. It can also deflate your SUP board for easier packing. The roller backpack is constructed with durable Oxford cloth and features front wheels for comfortable carrying. The package also includes a premium 10 ft coiled leash for safe paddling.

THURSO SURF is known for top engineering, the best materials, deluxe accessories, and second-to-none service. All of their products go through numerous analyses and tests before finalization. They stand behind their products 100% and offer a two-year warranty on the board. If any manufacturer defect is found within 24 months of purchase, THURSO SURF has you covered.

FAQs:

Q: How many psi should I use?

A: Hi Peter, the recommended pressure for typical use is 12 to 15 psi. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have further questions.

Q: I see 3 fins in the picture and the description talks about a 2+1 fin system, so does it have one, two or three fins?

A: Hi Kristi, we changed it to 3 fins in July 2017, one large fin and two small fins. They all feature the Quick Lock system that can be locked without any tools.

Q: What are the performance differences between the 10'6" and the 11'? Why get one over the other?

A: Generally speaking, the longer a board, the faster it goes, the more stable it is, and easier to paddle. It will probably surf half way decently, but I have not tried that yet.

Q: Why only one fin? Is it stable?

A: UPDATE: We've changed the fin to the 2+1 configuration in July 2017. Thanks. Hi Linda, the single-fin that comes with the board provides minimum drag and helps the board track straight. The fin makes the board perfect for flat water cruising or slightly choppy water touring. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have further questions. Thanks.
