In terms of frequently asked questions:
Q: Does this kayak have bungee holders to hold the paddle when not in use?
A: Yes, this paddle board has a bungee paddle holder located on the left-hand side of the board toward the nose, along with additional bungees on top near the nose and tail.
Q: The description states that a kayak seat can be fastened onto the board. Where do I buy that? What brand?
A: You can find the kayak seat in their accessories section on the NIXY website. The specific product you're looking for can be found at https://www.nixysports.com/product/kayak-seat-for-paddle-boards/.
Q: The PSI is not working on the manual pump. Am I supposed to be doing something, or is it supposed to work automatically? Now I can’t go out because I don't feel confident.
A: While your board may seem full, it may only be filled to approximately 5 PSI. The Typhoon 3-stage hand pump gauge will not register a reading until it reaches at least 9 PSI, which usually occurs in stage 2 or 3. Keep an eye on the gauge while pumping, as it will not show the pressure when it is sitting still. Therefore, continue pumping until the pressure reading becomes visible. Confidence will come with proper inflation.
Q: Why is a protection plan being offered? According to Asurion, "Inflatable items are ineligible for our protection plans."
A: I apologize, but I do not have the answer to that. I have personally owned the NIXY Newport for 2 years and can attest to its durability, making the need for a protection plan unnecessary.
Hello, Thank you for your question. Yes, this paddle board has a bungie paddle holder located on the left hand side of the board toward the nose to hold your paddle. It also has bungies on top of the board near the nose and near the tail.
Yes, you can attach a kayak seat to the paddle board. You can find it in our accessories on our website here. https://www.nixysports.com/product/kayak-seat-for-paddle-boards/
Although your board may look and feel like it is full it may only be filled to about 5 psi. The Typhoon 3 stage hand pump gauge will not register a reading until it reaches at least 9 psi. This usually happens in stage 2 or 3. Look at the gauge while you are pumping because once you stop pumping the gauge will not show the pressure when it is sitting still. So even though you think your board is full, Keep Pumping. The pressure will show up soon enough.
