The MT1 Wakeboard Tower is the original universal-fit wakeboard tower. It features double header bars for additional strength and accessory mounting area. Not only does this tower transform the look of your boat, but it can potentially increase its value as well. The MT1 is affordable, easy to install, fully collapsible, and completely silent. It is a classic crowd pleaser that will fit virtually any boat with a 60" - 102" beam.
The MT1 is designed to fit universally on trailerable boats with beam widths ranging from 60 to 102 inches. To ensure your tower stays in place on your boat, it has a machined aluminum base that creates a solid foundation. The heim joint in the base, paired with our Monster Paw, allows the tower to fit your boat's contours exactly.
The MT1 is constructed of 6061/63 aluminum, making it built to last. It uses 304 stainless steel fasteners throughout the tower for strength and stability. Unlike other wakeboard towers that use tube-in-tube construction and rattle, the MT1 has a patented hinged top-section that eliminates any rattling. It is also protected against marine environments with gloss black powder coating.
The MT1 is made to be easy to install yourself. Detailed instructions (both printed and available for download on our website) and helpful how-to videos are provided to ensure the easiest possible installation. Depending on your boat, installation typically takes 4-6 hours.
The dual header of the MT1 provides ample mounting space for a variety of your favorite tower accessories, including lights, speakers, and more. We understand that space on your boat is limited, so we designed the MT1 to accommodate your needs.
For easy storage without tools, quick release knobs are included with your purchase. These knobs allow the tower to fold down at a moment's notice, making it perfect for storage or travel under low clearances.
Frequently Asked Questions:
- Is it strong enough to pull tubes and skiers?
Skiers and wakeboarders can definitely use the MT1. However, it's important to note that no tower should be used to tube off of.
- I have a 2002 Maxum 1900SR and I don't know the beam width. Will it fit?
You can measure to confirm, but based on the specifications, the beam width of your boat is 96 inches, so this tower will fit. It has a universal fit for boats with a beam of 60-102".
- Does this come with a bimini top?
This product does not come with a bimini top. However, you can purchase a bimini top separately or check out the Tower + Bimini packages available on Monster Tower's website.
- What is the height of the tower? I'm wondering if the stock bimini will still open under it (Yamaha SR230).
The height of the tower depends on both the bow to stern leg spacing and how wide the boat is. It is impossible to say whether or not any aftermarket wakeboard tower will fit with an existing bimini top as there are numerous factors that could affect it (such as bimini height, width, length, and where the tower is mounted). Generally, aftermarket wakeboard towers do not work well with existing bimini tops without modifications to the factory bimini.
Skiers and wakeborders absolutely, however no tower should be used to tube off of.
You can measure to confirm but I am pulling up the beam width as 96 inches for this boat, so this tower will fit. It has a universal fit for boat with a beam of 60-102".
