Now let's address some FAQs about the MT1 Wakeboard Tower:
- Is it strong enough to pull tubes and skiers?
Skiers and wakeboarders can confidently use this tower. However, it is important to note that no tower should be used for tubing purposes.
- I have a 2002 Maxum 1900sr, but I'm unsure of the beam width. Will the MT1 fit?
You can measure your boat to confirm, but according to our records, the beam width for this boat is 96 inches, making the MT1 a perfect fit. It has a universal fit for boats with a beam width of 60 to 102 inches.
- Does this tower come with a bimini top?
No, this product does not come with a bimini top. However, you can purchase a separate bimini top, and Tower + Bimini packages are available through Monster Tower's website.
- What is the height of the tower? I'm concerned if the stock bimini will still open under it on my Yamaha SR230.
The height of the tower depends on both the bow to stern leg spacing and the width of the boat. Since there are many factors involved (such as bimini height, width, and length), it is impossible to determine whether an aftermarket wakeboard tower will fit with an existing bimini top. In most cases, modifications to the factory bimini are necessary when installing an aftermarket wakeboard tower.
Skiers and wakeborders absolutely, however no tower should be used to tube off of.
You can measure to confirm but I am pulling up the beam width as 96 inches for this boat, so this tower will fit. It has a universal fit for boat with a beam of 60-102".
Hey Dave,This product does not come with a bimini top. However a bimini top can be purchased separate and Tower + Bimini packages can be purchased through Monster Tower's website.
The height of the tower is going to depend on both the bow to stern leg spacing, as well as how wide the boat is. Unfortunately, it is impossible to say whether or not any aftermarket wakeboard tower will fit with an existing bimini top as there are numerous factors that could go into it (bimini height, bimini width, bimini length, where the tower is mounted, etc).More often than not, aftermarket wakeboard towers do not work well with existing bimini tops without modifications to the factory bimini.
