Now, let's address some frequently asked questions about the Surf To Summit Hot Seat Kayak Seat - Mild:

Q: Does it fit the Sun Dolphin Journey SS 10?

A: Because of the pressure-sensitive-adhesive backing, the Hot Seat will adhere directly to the Dolphin Journey SS 10 seat area. I adhered it to an aftermarket high-back seat that I custom fitted to my Dolphin Journey SS 10. This allows me to use the full adjustability of the high-back seat. The combination is fatigue-free for my typically 10-12 hour excursions.

Q: What's the difference between the mild and spicy?

A: I believe that the Mild is supposed to be a little softer, while the Spicy is a much firmer seat. I have the Mild but after 2 hours of kayaking, it feels quite hard where your butt falls asleep. I would have gone softer if I could have.

Q: Would this work in a sit-in Pelican Trailblazer?

A: Hello Mary. If your kayak has the little slot on the seat for a water bottle, then this seat won't work. As it would cover up that area and not fit correctly. It requires a smooth bottom to glue down on. I hope this helps you.

Q: My kayak has holes in the bottom of the seat. I am assuming this will cover the holes. Is that okay?

A: If covering the holes is your goal, then you're okay.
