The motor can be used with affordable 12V lead acid deep cycle batteries or 12V lithium batteries. It has two operating modes, 24V and 25.9V, which can power the motor with various battery options. This increase in range is perfect for any paddler looking to extend their fishing adventures. The motor can be easily installed on a 4 bolt PowerPole style stern mount or in the deck of a kayak. Its mount pivots to pass over underwater obstacles, and the durable aluminum motor head can withstand unexpected encounters. The motor can be controlled using steering cables connected to the kayak's OEM mounted foot braces or can be locked in a forward drive position for use on SUPs and inflatable kayaks. Reverse mode is enabled with a pull cord, ensuring the propeller stays submerged while backing out of trouble.
