I have a new bk uh 184 9’2” sit on top fishing kayak . what do you recommend for a trolling motor and installation kit ?Hi, Because the top of your kayak is contoured with only a few flat surfaces and limited access to the inside of the hull, it might be difficult to instal the Railblaza Motor Mount. Installation of this mount requires flat surfaces on port and starboard sides and access to the inside of the hull where the bases will be mounted. Therefore, you might want to consider a motor mount that utilizes rod holder tubes instead. As for a motor, we would recommend our 36lb Kayak Series with 24" shaft or 36lb NV Series motor with 30" shaft. To determine the best shaft length, please see our SHAFT LENGTH GUIDE here:https://newportvessels.com/trolling-motor-shaft-length-guide/ Hopefully this helps!
