Driftsun Almanor Inflatable Recreational Touring Kayak is a versatile kayak designed for touring and recreational activities. With its long waterline, it provides speed and long glides, making it great for distance paddling on flat water and mild ocean chop. The hull is made with rugged 600d polyester for durability and UV protection, and it uses industry-best 24 gauge air bladders for optimal performance.
The EVA padded high back seats of the Almanor kayak provide exceptional cushioning and support. The seats can be adjusted to accommodate various seating positions, ensuring comfort during long paddling sessions. The removable skeg enhances directional stability and helps you paddle in a straight line.
One of the standout features of this kayak is its portability. It comes with a travel bag, allowing you to hike in, inflate, and enjoy kayaking in remote areas. Inflating the kayak to its full size takes less than 10 minutes, and it weighs only 36 lbs, making it easy to carry.
The Driftsun Almanor 146 Inflatable Kayak package includes two adjustable EVA padded seats with high back support, two dual blade kayak paddles, a child seat (or a dog seat), a deluxe dual-action pump, a quick-release fin, two foot rests, and a travel bag.
Specifications of the kayak are as follows: when inflated, it measures 14.5ft. x 40in., and when deflated, it measures 24.5in. x 21in. x 10in. With a weight of 33 lbs, it has a capacity of 600 lbs. The inflation time is only 9 minutes.
Regarding the inflation instructions confusion, the kayak's side bladder should be inflated to 2 PSI, while the floor should be inflated to 1 PSI. This clarification should help avoid any misunderstandings and potential damage to the kayak due to over or under-inflation.
The pump included with the kayak is a manual pump, but you can purchase an electric pump as long as it has a PSI reading for easy and convenient inflation.
Unfortunately, returns for the Driftsun Almanor Inflatable Recreational Touring Kayak cannot be accepted. Please ensure that this is the right choice for you and your needs before making a purchase.
Good question, had to return my first one because side fabric split. Had inflated sides to 2psi according to tags on Boston valves. Didn’t notice that instructions on kayak details say the opposite. Maybe that’s why the side fabric split. Anyone else have this problem?
As mentioned in other answers, the manual and the printed instructions on the boat are contradictory. How do you mess that up?We use the instructions on the boat itself: floor 1PSI, sides 2PSI. Wonder if the seller that answered is actually sure of what they're talking about.

You cannot.
