Description

On the trail or on the water, the waterproof UST See-Me 1.0 LED Lights ensure you can be quickly located in an emergency. An ideal personal locator light, they are visible from 2.7-3.4 miles on a dark, clear night and are great for backpacks, boats, PFDs and more. Approved by the US Coast Guard, the Steady-On Light (20 lumens) runs for up to 17 hours and the Strobe Light (28 lumens) runs for up to 44 hours each on 2 AAA batteries (not included). The lifetime LED bulb never needs to be replaced.

DIMENSIONS: 20 Lumen Steady-On - 4.95” L x 1.0” W and weighs 1.8 oz. with (2) AAA batteries (not included)

How do i use velcro strap? lanyard is pretty small -- meant to go around wrist. Not a boater -- for home hurricane kit.

Does this light meet the requirements for a visual distress signal?

Does it strobe and and a regular light?

There are separate lights for strobe and regular. The lights are not capable of doing both sequences.

Is this coast guard approved to be used as a 360 marine light on the boat?

The See-Me 1.0 is waterproof with an IPX7 rating and it is U. S. Coast Guard-approved. Can be seen from 3.4 miles on a dark, clear night

  • LED light bulbs that cannot break.

  • Not bright enough
  • If it is misused (by twisting the top in the wrong direction), it will pop up in the battery compartment, which puts the batteries in danger of being destroyed by water.
