Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier

Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier

Description

Title: Thule Hullavator Pro Rooftop Kayak Carrier

Spend more time out on the water with the Thule Hullavator Pro rooftop kayak carrier. This lift-assist kayak rack is incredibly easy for one person to load and unload on their own. Gas-assist struts lift and lower up to 40 lbs of the kayak's weight, while double extend arms lower the kayak to waist height. 8 touch points of padded support offer maximum kayak protection. The rooftop kayak rack is built to last with corrosion-resistant cradles and aluminum, double coated steel construction. Confidently transport your favorite water sport gear with a kayak carrier from Thule.

  • Lift-assist kayak rack designed to easily load and unload on your own
  • Gas-assist struts lift and lower 40 lbs of the kayak's weight
  • Load and unload your kayak at waist height thanks to double extending arms
  • 8 touch points of padded support for maximum protection
  • Corrosion-resistant kayak cradles expand to fit wide kayaks
  • Built to last with aluminum, double coated steel construction
  • Includes bow and stern tie-downs for transporting 1 kayak

Good day, once lowered, the Hullavator locks into position, so you could load it up onto the cradles one side at a time. However, for lifting it up onto the roof once the kayak is secured to the carrier, both assemblies will need to go up at the same time. Thanks!

I would think it would depend on your car, but I have a Toyota Sequoia SUV and it has 2 Hullavators and there is about 8 inches between them.

I purchased the Thule Aero crossbars for my Hullavator after I took the "car fit" quiz thing on Thules website. Mine don't work at all for the Hullavator, the installation guide shows square ones and Thule won't return them or take back. Be cautious when you purchase.

Hi. The Hullavator is sold as a pair, in order to safely carry 1 kayak on the roof of your vehicle. Thanks!
