How easily can you slide an 85 lb Kayak on to these saddles? I have to load my kayak from the back by sliding it onto the rails which are quite high?
Place a towel in the rear saddle and it will slide quite easily.

Can these be mounted to a roof basket? Or do they need to be mounted directly to the crossbars? Thanks for checking with Thule. Not to Roof basket, but yes to Thule Bars or certain OEM Factory Bars. Please check www.thule.com for specifics.

Are these carriers compatible with the t-track in the thule probars? the probar slopes downward, making my older clamp-on thule carrier obsolete. Thank you for your question. Would these work for an emotoon stealth 11 angler kayak on an aftermarket crossbar for a Hyundai sonata?
That’s way too specific of a question, but if I had to guess they would work on any crossbar and can cradle any board or hull.
