Perception Hi Life 11

Description

Perception Hi Life 11 | Sit on Top Kayak is a versatile watercraft that combines the fun of kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding. Designed for flat, slow-moving, and calm coastal water types, it provides the perfect opportunity to enjoy the water with kids and pets. Made in the USA, this kayak is built to high-quality standards.

The Perception Hi Life 11 has received recognition for its design excellence, winning a bronze medal at the prestigious 2018 International Design Excellence Award (idea) in the sports, leisure, and recreation category. This award highlights the exceptional design and functionality of the kayak.

Featuring front and rear swim decks with low sides and hand grabs, getting in and out of the water is easy. The elevated seat provides comfort and support with a fold-down backrest and thick padding throughout. You can spend hours on the water without discomfort.

The Perception Hi Life 11 also offers convenient features such as an adjustable back, a drink holder to keep your favorite beverage secure, and an under seat storage compartment. The storage compartment measures approximately 10” (L) x 11.5” (W) x 5” (D), providing ample space for your essentials.

If you happen to lose the fin for your Perception Hi Life kayak paddle board hybrid, replacement fins can be found from Fins Unlimited. Fins Unlimited makes fins for surfboards that are compatible with the Hi Life. Surf shops or online surfing suppliers such as Surf Source can assist you in finding a suitable replacement fin. Ensure that the fin fits the Fins Unlimited template, which consists of a horizontal metal bar at the rear fin base that slides down the channel on the Hi Life fin box, and a vertical hole in front of the forward fin base for the set screw.

The comfort level of the Perception Hi Life 11 is exceptional. The elevated seat allows for easier paddling, and you have the option to stand, kneel, or sit. It provides a customizable experience to suit your preferences. Many users find the elevated seat to be more comfortable than traditional kayak seating arrangements.

If you are looking for a paddle that can be used for both kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding, South Bay Board offers a Carbon Fiber and an aluminum 4-piece paddle that provides both options. Some users find the Perception paddle too heavy and prefer the alternatives offered by South Bay Board.
