Lifetime Lotus Kayak with Paddle

Lifetime Lotus Kayak with Paddle

Description

The Lifetime Lotus Sit-On-Top Kayak with Paddle is a versatile and durable kayak that offers a great paddling experience. Made from high-quality polyethylene material, this kayak is both sturdy and lightweight, making it easy to transport and maneuver on the water.

One of the standout features of the Lifetime Lotus Kayak is its adjustable quick release seat back, which provides excellent comfort during long paddling sessions. The multiple footrest positions also allow for different size paddlers to find their optimal position, ensuring a comfortable and efficient stroke.

The kayak comes with a kayak paddle, so you don't have to worry about purchasing one separately. The paddle is of good quality and provides smooth and efficient strokes, making it easier to navigate through the water.

In terms of storage, the Lifetime Lotus Kayak offers a tank well storage with bungee cord lacing, allowing you to secure loose items and bring along essentials for your kayaking adventures. The center carry handle also makes it convenient to transport the kayak to the waterfront.

Now, let's address some common questions:

The weight limit of the Lifetime Lotus Kayak is specified as 250 lbs according to the Walmart website. You can find more information about this specific model on the Walmart website.

The 8' Lotus Kayak can hold up to 250 lbs, so it should be able to accommodate both you and your 82 lbs dog comfortably.

The kayak is 8 feet long and has a flatter bottom, which means it may not track as well if you're trying to go really fast. However, many users have reported no issues while paddling on lakes and enjoying a steady rhythm. It's important to note that this kayak is not designed for serious kayaking, but rather for fun and recreational purposes.

Unfortunately, the Lifetime Lotus Kayak is not designed to accommodate a motor. If you're looking for a kayak that can accommodate a trolling motor, you may want to consider the Manta or Sport Fisher kayaks from Lifetime.

My weight is down to 160-164, my dog weighs 82 lbs. can this 8' Lotus Kayk hold both of us?

Hello,This kayak can hold up to 250 lbs. I hope this helps :)

How does it track?

It's only 8 feet long and flatter on the bottom so it doesn't track well if you're trying to go really fast. You have to work with the limitations of this type of kayak. Having said that, I have spent many hours kayaking around our Lake Nighthorse here in Durango, CO with no problem. You just find a good steady rhythm of paddling and it tracks well enough. But you won't win any races. ;) This is definitely not a kayak for very serious kayakers unless as a second kayak to have fun with. I got it because with the front and back seats down in my Ford Escape, I can fit it in and close the hatch. And I have enjoyed many hours of fun with it.

Can I install a trolling motor on it?

This kayak is not designed to accommodate a motor. A trolling motor will only work on our Manta and Sport fisher kayaks.
