Are there different size hooks? My perception tribe 13.5 kayak does not fit.
I'm curious if you managed to get this to work? One of the comments shows the reviewer's kayaks didn't fit as pictured but did fit if he turned them over. You review makes me wonder if this works for non-sit-on-top kayaks.
The total width is 94", what is the distance between the 2 support legs? OR, how far does the end of the rack protrude from the legs? Maybe 12"???
The distance between the legs is 72" and yes, about 12" from the end of the rack. This is a very nice rack for storing up to two kayaks. We have it set up on a side section of our backyard deck and this works great for security purposes. Good purchase!
How large is the box that it comes in?
About 2' x 3' x 8".
Has anyone had issues with the carriage bolts that are meant to secure the base? Mine are too long and don’t tighten.
I had no trouble assembling the rack. If the bolts are too long, it would be easier to go to the hardware store than try to get the right ones from the manufacturer.
