I'm Abigail Scott, an author, adventurer, and mother of three. When I'm not navigating the beautiful chaos of motherhood, you can find me tackling the turbulent waters as a professional whitewater kayaker or scaling impressive rock faces as a climbing guide. The rush of adrenaline, whether from kayaking or climbing, is a feeling I cherish deeply. But the thrill doesn't stop there; I capture the breathtaking allure of nature through my lens as a professional photographer. And when I'm not submerged in the wild, my software engineering skills amplify my outdoor pursuits, allowing me to harness technology in unique ways. Through my writings, whether articles or blog posts, I share not just my adventures but my heart, hoping to spark a flame of inspiration in others to break boundaries and experience the world's wonders.

Denali 100L Backpack

Description

Why We Love the Gregory Denali 100L Backpack

The Gregory Denali 100L Backpack is our top choice for long alpine climbs, week-long Alaskan glacier trips, and gear-intensive expeditions. With an impressive 6102 cubic inches of space, this backpack provides ample room for all your essentials. It's similar to the Denali 75, but the 100L version is perfect for those who venture into remote areas for skiing big lines and climbing big walls.

Gregory has designed the Denali with durability and weight in mind. It features a lightweight 210D nylon fabric reinforced with 420D high-density materials where extra strength is needed. The internally laminated front panel is puncture-resistant, protecting against ice axes, crampons, and ski edges. The 630D high-density nylon base ensures the pack is safe from rock and ice. Additionally, the convenient dual-entry pocket on the front panel provides easy access to crampons or a shell.

The Fusion Flex Pro suspension system sets this backpack apart. It offers exceptional comfort even with heavy expedition-grade loads. The system consists of two removable 7075 aluminum frame stays and a sewn-in frame sheet for added support and gear protection. A tubular cross-stay prevents the bag from collapsing under a heavy load, while the high-density EVA foam padding at the shoulders, back, and hip pads ensures a comfortable fit.

In terms of versatility, the Denali 100L doesn't disappoint. It features a removable bivy pad concealed in the back panel and a removable hip belt for fast and light alpine adventures.
