Repair ripped or torn waders, wetsuits, inflatables, boots and all your outdoor gear with Aquaseal FD. It’s a flexible, durable adhesive that’s waterproof and bonds to all types of outdoor fabrics. This clear, rubber glue cures in 8-12 hours and is ideal for fixing pinhole leaks and tears on watersports and fishing gear. As a multipurpose fabric repair adhesive that’s waterproof, it keeps you dry and offers excellent abrasion resistance to keep gear protected from scrapes and scratches. When you rip your waders or tear your wetsuit, fix it with Aquaseal FD.

Fix rips and tears permanently on waders, wetsuits, PVC inflatables, muck boots, and more with this waterproof and flexible adhesive. Use it as a fabric and vinyl repair adhesive to patch holes and seal leaks; cures in 8-12 hours to a flexible urethane rubber (available in 0.75 oz or 8 oz tube). Apply this clear glue to neoprene, nylon, canvas, leather, rubber, and GORE-TEX fabric; creates a water-tight seal that won’t peel or crack over time. Resist abrasions and scratches with a repair that is unaffected by extreme temperatures. Packaging may vary.

I need to bond a large patch of PVC plastic over a big hole in my PVC plastic inflatable kayak. Will this bond PVC to PVC? I can verify that HH-66 cement with a vinyl patch works great on inflatable kayaks and boats. This product does not work well when attempting to apply a patch. It works better on inflatable kayaks/boats if you’re trying to patch a pinhole or small hole in a seam. Place Aquaseal on the hole/seam and it will spread/flatten out. Just allow it to fully dry - I just let it set for 24hrs before inflating.

What is the shelf-life for Aquaseal? Once the tube has been opened it will last anywhere from 2 months to 12 months depending on storage and the amount of moisture present. It is recommended to store in a low moisture area to increase shelf life.

Will this work on a bicycle inner tube made of butyl? Hmmn... I guess it should work well. Actually I used it on a wetsuit and the bond was pretty strong. I would suggest that you put an additional patch made of the same butyl over the puncture and you should be good.
