What transducer do i need to buy to use the chirp ? it keeps saying that i need the compatible transducer.
MY GARMIN VIVID VU CAME WITH AN UPDATED TRANSDUCER AND IT CHIRPS IF YOU WANT IT TO.
In the description it says this unit isn’t a chart plotting model but in the highlights it claims quick contours and mapping. Which one is it?
The description is correct. Garmin Quickdraw Counters are NOT maps. Strikers units are NOT mapping units. As stated they do support Garmin Quickdraw Counters, which is essentially software that draws counters based off of where you have been.
What is unit warranty?
2 years. There's a lot of not covered stuff in the paperwork also, though.
How many amps does it require? Will 12v 10AH xtreme battery work?
YES! That's perfect.
