What does it mean when you plug the light in to USB to charge & the red light flashes? In a properly operating system during charging, the red light stays fully lit. When the battery is fully charged, the red light flashes. Are these really waterproof? I would think that they would be fine in the rain. I would not submerge them as the USB port rubber plug might not be 100% waterproof! Great little product for the kayak, nice rubber straps!
