I'm Abigail Scott, an author, adventurer, and mother of three. When I'm not navigating the beautiful chaos of motherhood, you can find me tackling the turbulent waters as a professional whitewater kayaker or scaling impressive rock faces as a climbing guide. The rush of adrenaline, whether from kayaking or climbing, is a feeling I cherish deeply. But the thrill doesn't stop there; I capture the breathtaking allure of nature through my lens as a professional photographer. And when I'm not submerged in the wild, my software engineering skills amplify my outdoor pursuits, allowing me to harness technology in unique ways. Through my writings, whether articles or blog posts, I share not just my adventures but my heart, hoping to spark a flame of inspiration in others to break boundaries and experience the world's wonders.

Wilderness Tsunami 145 Kayak

Wilderness Tsunami 145 Kayak

Description

A step up from the tsunami 125 in storage space and capacity and speed and suited for larger paddlers, this wildly popular touring kayak offers a balanced fit that all skill levels can enjoy. The aesthetics inspire performance and exploration with modern deck lines.

Storage features include two hatches, two removable mesh deck storage bags, an under-deck storage area, and bungee deck rigging with a reflective static safety line. Small design changes with big effects have been integrated into the hull - the flared sidewalls and increased volume above the waterline have been improved to provide more confidence and stability, while the longer waterline has increased speed and efficiency. Adjustable padded thigh braces provide a comfortable fit, and soft touch handles in the front and rear of kayak allow for easy transport. For additional control and tracking, this kayak is outfitted with a rudder.

The Tsunami 145 model is the Swiss army knife of touring kayaks; it is ideal for larger paddlers. It is exceptionally fast, yet stable in all conditions. The most comfortable kayak seat out there keeps you on the water longer. Easily adjustable Keepers XL footrests accommodate paddlers of different sizes, and the adjustable padded thigh braces add comfort and allow for a good connection with the kayak.

Two mesh gear pockets on deck keep your important smaller items secure and within easy reach. The under-deck water bottle holder keeps your water bottle close and out of the way. The kayak also features two storage hatches and bulkheads - a large oval hatch in the rear and a smaller round hatch in the bow. The sealed bulkheads in the bow and stern provide water-resistant storage in hatches and more buoyancy for added safety.

For additional control and tracking, this kayak is outfitted with a rudder.
