Kayak Scupper Plugs - Universal Sit On Top Hole Plugs

Kayak Scupper Plugs - Universal Sit On Top Hole Plugs

Description

Universal Kayak Scupper Plugs - Sit On Top Kayak Hole Plugs provide a tiered design that allows for a universal fit for scupper kayaks. This means that regardless of the specific kayak model you have, these plugs will fit securely in the scupper holes to prevent water from entering the kayak.

Made from solid silicone, these scupper plugs are heavy-duty and molded to ensure long-lasting use. The durability of the material ensures that they will withstand the wear and tear of regular kayaking trips without getting damaged.

One great feature of these scupper plugs is their high-visibility glow-in-the-dark design. They come in a vibrant neon green color that makes them easy to spot during the day. Additionally, the silicone material used has a glow-in-the-dark property, making it effortless to locate the plugs even in low-light conditions or at night.

The Universal Kayak Scupper Plugs are sold in pairs, which is convenient for kayakers who typically have multiple scupper holes to plug. Having two plugs allows for complete coverage and ensures that all scupper holes are well-protected.

Now let me answer some frequently asked questions about these scupper plugs as statements:

The diameter at the widest ring is approximately 1.840 inches or 46.736 mm. This ensures a snug fit in most scupper holes and prevents water from seeping through.

The measurements of the scupper plugs are as follows: the diameter of each ring is roughly 7/8", 1-1/4", 1-1/2", 1-3/4", and 1-7/8". The plug itself is 2" tall from the bottom ring to the top ring. These scupper plugs work well with scupper holes that are around 1-3/4" wide and not tapered. Customers have reported that they fit nicely in their Pescador 12" kayaks.

If you have a Sundolphin Bali SS10 kayak, these scupper plugs will fit about halfway into the scupper holes. It's important to keep in mind that this particular style of plug is designed to fit multiple drain hole sizes, so it might not achieve a flush fit in every kayak model. However, it will get the job done in terms of preventing water from entering the kayak.

Are these scupper plugs permanent or removable? While they can be used as removable plugs, if you want a more permanent solution, you can use silicone caulk or SUGRU to bond them in. Both of these materials can be removed at a later date if needed by simply scraping out the silicone.
