Vegan Reef Friendly SPF 50 Sunscreen Face Lotion

Description

Sun Bum Original SPF 50 Sunscreen Face Lotion is a fantastic product that provides excellent protection for your skin while still being gentle enough for everyday use. Unlike many other sunscreens, this lotion absorbs quickly into the skin, leaving no greasy residue behind. It also has a matte finish, making it perfect for those who dislike the shiny look that can sometimes come with sunscreen.

One of the standout features of this face lotion is that it is fragrance-free. Many people have sensitive skin or allergies to certain fragrances, so it's a relief to find a sunscreen that doesn't irritate or overwhelm the senses. Additionally, this lotion is designed to be moisturizing, so it won't leave your skin feeling dry or tight.

When it comes to sun protection, Sun Bum Original SPF 50 Sunscreen Face Lotion really delivers. It is dermatologist-approved and offers broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection, ensuring that your skin is shielded from the sun's harmful rays. This is especially important for maintaining a youthful complexion and preventing sun damage.

Using this product is a breeze. Simply apply liberally to all areas of your skin, excluding the eye area, 15 minutes before sun exposure. If you plan on swimming or sweating, be sure to reapply after 80 minutes for maximum effectiveness. And don't forget to reapply every two hours for continued protection throughout the day.

It's also worth noting that Sun Bum takes your skin's health seriously. Their Original Sunscreen line is hypoallergenic and free from oxybenzone, octinoxate, gluten, cruelty, and parabens. This means you can enjoy your time in the sun without worrying about harmful ingredients or potential irritation.

At Sun Bum, they believe in trusting the beach experts when it comes to sun protection. They have taken the time to create a sunscreen that holds up even on the most intense beach days. So, if you're looking for a reliable sunscreen that has been thoroughly tested by the beach enthusiasts themselves, Sun Bum Original SPF 50 Sunscreen Face Lotion is the way to go.

Now let's address some frequently asked questions about this product:

Is this face sunscreen reef safe?

This product is Oxybenzone free. Start reading labels and make sure your sunscreen and cosmetics don't list them as ingredients: any form of microplastic sphere or beads, any nanoparticles like zinc oxide or titanium dioxide, Oxybenzone, Octinoxate, 4-methylbenzylidene camphor, Octocrylene, Para-aminobenzoic acid (PABA), Methylparaben, Ethylparaben, Propylparaben, Butylparaben, Benzylparaben, Triclosan.

Description says use 3 tablespoons which seems excessive. Does anyone really use that much?

I use the "three finger rule" which is said to be similar to 3 tablespoons. It's where you squirt out enough sunscreen to go along three of your fingers, and THAT is how much you should be applying. In my experience, it's enough to cover your face and neck, and as long as you work it in, it never looks obvious or excessive.

Would you recommend this or the stick for face sunscreen?

I do like the cream very much. Since I have not tried the stick, I'm not sure. But the cream works well.

Do your products have zinc in them?

I just received this item three days ago and I'm returning it. I don't know why I was under the impression this company was an all-natural company. I thought my daughter used it for my two grandsons, and she uses all organic products. So it's my own fault for not seeing all the cancer-causing chemicals that are in this product. I'm actually returning it.
