Now, let's address some frequently asked questions:
1. How easy is it to paddle with a single person?
It is quite easy to paddle solo. I have paddled in both the middle and rear positions in flat water with no problems. Although I haven't paddled solo in whitewater, I would choose to paddle from the middle position if I were to do so. Since the Sea Eagle is an inflatable, it may be slightly sluggish when paddling solo. - Grant in Seattle
2. I am comparing this Sea Eagle 380X Pro against the Aquaglide Klickitat, which has a semi-hard bottom. Has anyone out there owned both?
Scott, I'm not familiar with the Aquaglide, but I can tell you that Sea Eagle kayaks use a high-pressure floor and hull. When properly inflated, these inflatables are very rigid. The floor and boat are sturdy enough for you to stand up in them without any problems. The hull has D-Rings for attaching the seats in various positions. The Sea Eagle package includes everything you need, such as the boat, pump, seats, paddles, carry/storage bag, and repair kit. Feel free to reach out if you have any more questions. - Ron Schmidt, Valley Sports and More
3. Does this Pro Package come with a skeg? Does it come with carbon fiber paddles?
This package does come with a removable skeg. However, the paddles included are not carbon fiber models. If you want the carbon fiber paddles, you will need to purchase the 420 "Pro Carbon" package.
4. Is this the newest model with 16 high capacity draining valves, or the older version with 4 draining valves? The description says 4 large valves.
This kayak has four valves.

I have not paddled solo in whitewater, would choose to paddle from the middle should I do so. Inasmuch as the Sea Eagle is an inflatable, it is a little sluggish when paddling solo.Grant in Seattle
Scott,I'm not familiar with the Aquaglide. I sell the Sea Eagle's and I can tell you they use a high pressure floor and also a high pressure hull. When inflated properly these inflatables are very rigid. The floor and boat are rigid enough that you can stand up in them with no problem. There are D-Rings on the hull where you attach the seats to. You can arrange the seats in several different positions. The Sea Eagle package comes with everything you need. Includes the boat, pump, seats, paddles, carry/storage bag and repair kit in case you ever should need it. I hope this answers your question.
