Sea Eagle 393RL RazorLite Pro Kayak

Sea Eagle 393RL RazorLite Pro Kayak

Description

I recently purchased the Sea Eagle 393RL RazorLite Inflatable Kayak Pro Package and I have been extremely impressed with its performance and features.

The kayak is fully constructed with drop stitch technology, which provides excellent stability and rigidity. This technology ensures that the kayak maintains its shape and performs well even in challenging conditions.

The 393RL kayak is equipped with two open and close drain valves, as well as three one-way air valves. These features make the kayak easy to inflate and deflate, allowing for efficient setup and takedown.

I also appreciate the large removable rear skeg, which helps with tracking and stability. Additionally, the kayak has six D-rings that can be used to secure a seat and footrest, providing added comfort and support while paddling.

To further enhance the overall experience, the 393RL kayak comes with front and rear spray skirts that help keep you dry. The kayak also features convenient carry handles for easy transportation.

In terms of performance, this kayak is a standout. It offers high speed and stability, making it suitable for both beginners and experienced paddlers. The kayak comes with a four-part performance paddle, a tall seat back, and an adjustable foot brace, which all contribute to a comfortable and enjoyable paddling experience.

Transporting and storing the kayak is a breeze, thanks to the included backpack. The backpack is spacious and allows you to conveniently pack and carry the deflated kayak, along with the other accessories. Additionally, the package includes a high-pressure pump with an inline gauge, which ensures that you can inflate the kayak to the optimal pressure.

Now, let me address some frequently asked questions about the Sea Eagle 393RL RazorLite Inflatable Kayak Pro Package:

How stable are these kayaks as compared to regular molded models?

Personally, I don't have enough experience with hard shell kayaks to compare, however, the Razorlite, to me, feels less stable than the Sea Eagle Explorer or Fast Track models, both of which are very stable inflatable kayaks.

Are there foot supports?

Yes. You can see in the picture that there's a white bar that hooks on each side of the hull right in front of the seat. That's a foot rest.

Is this made in USA?

No, it is not. But the quality is very good. It is a great kayak for the money.

Will this fit in a check bag for airline?

Thank you for your interest in Sea Eagle Boats. The 393RL comes with a backpack that fits the deflated RazorLite and can be checked as luggage. However, we advise that you check with your airline regarding each individual airline's luggage restrictions. The deflated measurements of the hull alone are 22" x 22" x 12".
