Sea Eagle 3 Person Inflatable Kayak

Sea Eagle 3 Person Inflatable Kayak

Description

I recently purchased the Sea Eagle 3 Person Inflatable Portable Sport Kayak Canoe and have been extremely satisfied with its performance. This kayak has a 3 person/650 lb capacity and weighs only 32 lbs, making it suitable for up to Class III whitewater adventures.

The 370 Deluxe Kayak Package includes two movable and super comfortable Deluxe Kayak Seats, providing improved back support. It also comes with 2 paddles, a foot pump, and a convenient carry bag.

The kayak is equipped with 2 AB30 7'10'' 4 Part Paddles, featuring an asymmetrical blade and an aluminum shaft. These paddles ensure easy and efficient maneuverability on the water.

To enhance tracking and speed, the bottom of the kayak is fitted with 2 skegs. This feature makes it easier to stay on course and maintain a steady pace.

The Sea Eagle 3 Person Inflatable Portable Sport Kayak Canoe incorporates an open and close drain valve, as well as 5 deluxe 1-way inflation/deflation valves. These valves allow for quick and effortless inflation and deflation of the kayak.

Now, let's address some frequently asked questions about this kayak:

Q: Can a dog ride in this without its claws popping the kayak?

A: It is advised to cut the dog's claws if they weigh sixty pounds or less. The kayak's material can handle Class III rapids.

Q: My wife and I are deciding between the Sea Eagle 330 or Sea Eagle SE370 for tandem or single use. How manageable is this with only one person?

A: I frequently use the SE370 alone, and it is quite manageable. With just one person, high winds may push it around slightly, but overall it is easy to handle. However, it is ideal for two people due to the spaciousness. Three people may feel crowded. If you plan to use it solely for single use, the Sea Eagle 330 might be a better option.

Q: I have a few questions: 1. Is this easy to maneuver with just one person? 2. If you have owned this for a while, can anyone speak to long-term durability? 3. I am concerned about safety with taking my two small children out. Has anyone had an issue with a fast leak?

A: 1) I mostly use this kayak as a one-person unit, and it is very easy to maneuver, even with speed boats and jet skis passing by. I am 5'10" and have also used it with my 5'9" son, and we still have ample room for a small ice chest, rope, water bag, and water containers. 2) I have owned mine for about a year and haven't experienced any leaks. I have used it in the hot Arizona sun, and it has held up well. Additionally, my brother accidentally ran it over with his Ford F-150 while it was inflated, and it sustained no damage. 3) Safety shouldn't be a major concern. I have taken small kids weighing around 60 pounds in addition to myself and my son, and the kayak performed well even at Mission Bay.

Q: Does the SE370 Pro include the storage bag and other equipment shown on the Sea Eagle website?

A: For the most part, yes. However, this particular package does not include the dry bag mentioned on Sea Eagle's website. It does come with a carrying duffle, paddles, pump, and other essential equipment.

My wife and I deciding between the Sea Eagle 330 or Sea Eagle SE370 for tandem or single use. How manageable is this with only one person?

I take our SE370 out alone about 80% of the time. High winds will push it around some but it is manageable w/1 person. Ideal for 2 people because of the room. 3 would be too crowded IMHO. For single use only I would probably lean towards the 330.

I have a few questions: 1. Is this easy to maneuver with just one person? we want to be able to go with one or two adults.2. 1)I mostly use this as a one person unit. Its easy to maneuver, especially with speed boats and jetskis zipping by. I am 5’10” and also use it with my son who is 5’9”. We still have room for small ice chest, rope, water bag, and water containers. 2) I’ve had mine for about a year. I use it in the hot Arizona sun. I’ve yet to have a leak. My brother ran it over with a Ford F-150 inflated and it’s still going strong. 3) I wouldn’t be too concerned about taking anyone out, kids or adults. We have carried a small kid who weighed about 60 pounds in addition to myself and my son at Mission bay and it did well.
