The new design of this wakeboard is perfect for beginners. The continuous rockers keep the board stable, predictable, and easy to control. The Jr. Impact Wakeboard is constructed using high-quality materials that are strong, flexible, and lightweight. It features a foam core for extra buoyancy, ensuring durability and performance.
To provide extra durability, this wakeboard has impact-resistant side rails that run the entire edge of the board. These reinforced edges protect the foam core and enhance the overall durability of the wakeboard.
The wakeboard comes with two removable fins, making it easier for transport and storage. Riders also have the option to ride without fins, allowing them to learn how to better use the rail for edge control.
The included Charger Boots are of high quality and feature lace-up bindings. This allows riders to quickly and easily slide their foot in and then cinch up snug. The bindings attach to the board with mounting screws, which can be easily screwed in and out to adjust the forward foot.
Now, let's answer some frequently asked questions about this product:
- My son is 5 years old & 45 pounds, would this work for him?
Yes, this wakeboard should work for your son.
- What size are the bindings? My son is 85 lbs and size 7-8 shoe.
Regarding FIT: I got this to help my 12-year-old learn to wakeboard. He was 95 lbs and wore a size 7.5 shoe. He is 13 and 110 lbs and wearing an 8.5 shoe, and can still ride this board. We also moved the bindings over to a larger board that a 24-year-old had with a damaged binding, and his feet are size 10. As for control, this board has a single fin at each end and is best described as slippery on the water compared to other boards we’ve used. Lastly, if I had it to do over, I’d definitely go with a larger board. More surface area helps the novice get up and ride. Yes, larger means heavier and therefore harder to do tricks, but when they are just starting out, they just need to learn how to ride. Best of luck.
- We could not use this board as there were no fins in the box. Where can I get the fins?
The first board I got from them had a big bulge on the lower portion, and I complained. They sent me a new board. Just ask the manufacturer to send you the fins. I believe their contact info is in the manual inside the box.
- Son is 81 lbs and size 5 shoe. Will he fit?
I think it's right on the edge. I might lean towards getting a larger size, as he will grow into it fast.
