Can i use this to transport my kayak on the roof of my car with no roof rack system? Yes. Simple assembly.

I have a 2008 Jetta with a sunroof. Has anyone had issues with damaging their sunroof while using this setup? Hi, I don't have a sunroof, but I don't see why you couldn't try using this. I feel as long as you put the foam pads on either side of the sunroof you shouldn't have a problem. In my opinion, I definitely wouldn't put extra weight on it.

How high are the foam pads? My pathfinder has fin on the top, so I am hoping the pad will make the Kayak sit above that fin? u can adjust the pads to make the kayak set higher or lower by about 2"-3", if that helps

Can you use this on a coupe style car? (Honda Accord 2010) well I think u need a back window that rolls down for the 2nd pad to be strapped through... you could just strap the back pad to the kayak so it still can rest on it but wouldn't be strapped down to the car, and just use the other 4 straps for securing in theory that would work fine
