Abigail ScottBy Abigail Scott
I'm Abigail Scott, an author, adventurer, and mother of three. When I'm not navigating the beautiful chaos of motherhood, you can find me tackling the turbulent waters as a professional whitewater kayaker or scaling impressive rock faces as a climbing guide. The rush of adrenaline, whether from kayaking or climbing, is a feeling I cherish deeply. But the thrill doesn't stop there; I capture the breathtaking allure of nature through my lens as a professional photographer. And when I'm not submerged in the wild, my software engineering skills amplify my outdoor pursuits, allowing me to harness technology in unique ways. Through my writings, whether articles or blog posts, I share not just my adventures but my heart, hoping to spark a flame of inspiration in others to break boundaries and experience the world's wonders.

NRS Raku Fishing PFD

NRS Raku Fishing PFD

Description

Anglers looking for a more traditionally designed jacket should choose the NRS Raku PFD featuring a ventilated, thin-back that comfortably fits any kayak, raft or drift boat seat.

This PFD is approved under the new certification system for PFDs. It's dual certified, carrying both a US Coast Guard Approval through Underwriters Laboratories (UL), and a Transport Canada Approval through Underwriters Laboratories Canada (ULC).

The thin back construction distributes the PlushFit foam flotation more broadly to reduce bulk and improve the fit.

Five-panel design conforms effortlessly to your body's shape, following your movements as you paddle, row, cast and land.

Two large, zippered pockets, sized for tackle boxes, with internal organization, plus two smaller accessory pockets with hook-and-loop closure.

A fifth, tool holder pocket offers quick access to pliers, line cutters or other fishing gadgets and accessories.

What material is the shell made of? Ripstop Nylon and is very well made.

What’s the correct size for someone who’s chest is 40” and weight is 155 Lbs? I would put you in a large. I am 260 lbs and I wear the XL with the straps as tight as it will allow. Great choice BTW. Super comfortable. Plenty of storage.

Dimensions of the front pockets? Currently I am in AZ and Jackets in MN; I can measure in a few weeks;

How do you choose the correct size? I picked a size smaller than my shirt size. I wear a 2x shirt and the x-large fits well.
