NorthStar Trailer Sprayer - 31-Gallon, 2.2 GPM, 12 Volt DC

Description

The NorthStar Tow-Behind Trailer Boom Broadcast and Spot Sprayer is a reliable and efficient sprayer with a 31-gallon capacity and a 2.2 GPM (gallons per minute) flow rate. The 12-volt DC pump from the NorthStar NSQ Series provides faster priming and longer life, with a maximum pressure of 70 PSI. It offers a 100% continuous duty rating, ensuring consistent performance.

One of the standout features of this sprayer is the Honeywell MICRO SWITCH, which enhances durability and efficiency. The Santoprene diaphragm and Viton valves contribute to superior reliability and chemical resistance. The proprietary tank design is large in capacity and has extra-thick UV-resistant walls, making it compatible with virtually all pesticides.

Now, let's address some frequently asked questions about this product:

Do I need to buy a battery or can I use the battery from my mower when pulling this (john deere gx255)?

It hooks up to your tractor battery with alligator clips that are included with the sprayer. The clips are attached to a long twin wire that goes directly back to the sprayer. In other words, you don't need to buy a battery.

See the wand for spot spraying, see the booms for boom spraying, but I don't see the broadcast spreader. The ad says broadcast, and I don't see it there.

If you are thinking about a broadcast spreader for dry fertilizer, then no, there isn't one on this sprayer. However, the sprayer itself broadcasts the liquid in the tank approximately 10 feet wide. They recommend overlapping to achieve about 8" wide coverage.

What is the size of the hose?

I would guess that the hose has a 1/2" outer diameter.

Where is it manufactured?

When I tried to find out, all I found was information about the design being from Minnesota and the private company owners called Clayton being from Australia. So, decipher what you will.
