Leader Accessories Waterproof Cover

Description

Leader Accessories Heavy Duty Vinyl Waterproof is an ultimate heavy-duty dry bag that is made from durable materials and constructed with heavy-duty vinyl polyester trilaminate. The bag is designed to withstand regular usage and has high-frequency welded seams, making it durable and easy to wipe clean. It is also easy to store away when not in use.

One of the standout features of this dry bag is its 100% waterproof capability. Whether you are kayaking, traveling, boating, white water rafting, camping, hiking, hunting, skiing, or snowboarding, this dry bag will protect your valuables from dirt, dust, sand, and water. It is suitable for quick submersion and will keep your belongings dry even in challenging conditions.

The bag comes with adjustable shoulder straps for added convenience. The 5L, 10L, 15L, and 20L dry bags have a single adjustable shoulder strap that allows you to customize the length. The 30L dry bag features two adjustable straps that can be used as a backpack or a single-shoulder bag. The 40L and 55L dry bags are equipped with backpack-style shoulder straps and a sternum strap for added stability.

In addition to its practical design, the dry bag also features a clear window that allows you to see the contents of your bag without opening it. This feature is particularly handy when you need to quickly locate a specific item without rummaging through your bag.

To further enhance its functionality, the bag comes with an IPX8 certified waterproof phone case. The phone case is 7'x 4' in size and features a simple snap and lock access. It has dual-sided clear windows that allow you to use your smartphone while it is still inside the case. The case is suitable for phones with a diagonal screen size of up to 6.7'.

FAQs:

- Would this bag be good for hanging food?

It's a dry bag. Once folded over, it keeps items dry. Other than retaining the odor of food inside the bag, I guess you can hang it up. If you're asking if it masks odors so bears and other predators won't get it, I don't know. You're on your own.

- Would this hold up tubing down the river? I try to keep my bag out of the water but it always ends up falling into the water 2-4 times (rapids)

I would say yes. I have 2 of these bags that I use for canoeing and bicycling, and I can say they are very well-made and 100% waterproof as long as they are not overpacked. To ensure a watertight seal, you should get at least 2 folds on the top of the bag and then clamp them together. I still recommend putting your cell phone in a ziplock bag for extra protection. If you purchase this bag, you won't be disappointed.

- What are the dimensions for the 15-liter bag?

The flattened packable space is approximately 16" h x 14" w. The 15L capacity translates to 4 gallons.

- Would 1 55L be big enough for 2 people on an overnight float, or should we each have 1? We have 2 sleeping bags, a 3P tent, 2 sleeping pads, and clothes.

For the items mentioned (also depending on the size of the tent and sleeping bags), I'd say you're looking for a 90L or 120L bag if you want to consolidate into one. Otherwise, 1 55L bag is not big enough.
