One of the standout features of this rod holder is its nice design. It is specifically designed for use with kayaks, making it the perfect accessory for any kayak enthusiast.

Now, let's address some frequently asked questions about this product:

1. How deep does the tube go into the kayak?

The tube extends 6.75 inches from the top of the mounting surface of the rod holder, providing ample depth for secure rod placement.

2. Are these angled? I'm looking for a 90-degree angle with a cap.

Yes, these rod holders are angled, although the exact angle is probably less than 30 degrees. They also come with caps, ensuring your rods are protected when not in use.

3. Can these be installed on the sides of kayaks or only in the back?

While these rod holders can technically be installed on the sides of kayaks, it is recommended to install them behind where you sit in the kayak. This positioning ensures your fishing poles are out of the way while paddling and reduces the chances of accidental bumping.

4. So, it's got the screws, but where are the nuts to secure them on the backside?

The package typically includes screws for securing the rod holders into wood surfaces, such as a pontoon deck or dock. If you plan to mount them on aluminum or fiberglass, you will need to purchase your own fasteners. It is advisable to contact the seller if the availability of fasteners is not mentioned in the product description.

In conclusion, the KSTON Flush Mount Fishing Boat Rod Holder Bracket with Cap Cover is a high-quality and well-designed accessory that is easy to install and perfect for kayak anglers. Its durability and convenience make it a worthy addition to any fishing gear arsenal.

Frequently Asked Questions

How deep does the tube go into the kayak?

6.75 inches from the top of the mounting surface of the rod holder

are these angled ? I'm looking for a 90 degree with a cap.

Yes they are angled, probably less than 30 degrees, and yes they do have caps.

Can these be installed on the sides of kayaks or only in the back?

My recommendation for installing the rod holders would be behind where you sit in the kayak. Reason for this is when you are paddling you will not bump your fishing poles and they will be behind and out of your way.

So its got the srews but wheres the nuts to secure them on the back side?

I think mine just came with screws for securing into wood (pontoon deck, dock, etc). If you want to mount in aluminum or fiberglass, you are going to have to get your own fasteners. I might have even bought my own stainless screws come to think of it. I'd contact seller if fasteners were in description?
