Borogo Kayak Rudder – Nylon Glass Fiber Replacement

Borogo Kayak Rudder – Nylon Glass Fiber Replacement

Description

The Borogo Kayak Rudder is a fantastic accessory for any kayak enthusiast. It mounts on the stern of your kayak vertically, giving you greater control in windy or turbulent conditions.

The rudder blade measures approximately 45cm in length and is made of sturdy Nylon and 304 stainless steel. It is built to last and can withstand the rigors of kayaking.

Installation and use are straightforward. The rudder can be secured in the raised position to prevent it from self-deploying. Wires run from the blade to your foot brace, allowing you to control the rudder during paddling.

The Kayak Rudder is designed to work with a foot control (Not Included) to achieve the desired direction change. It is suitable for various watercraft, including seayaks, kayaks, canoes, angling boats, and more.

If you purchase this rudder, you may need to drill a small hole through the blade part of the rudder to install the spring. The location is marked but not drilled out.

No detailed instructions are provided with the rudder, so some users may find it challenging to figure out how it should work. It is recommended to seek additional guidance or consider returning it if necessary.

The locking knob on the rudder blade serves to hold the blade in place. However, it does not have any additional functions. If you need a retrieval action, you can order the spring separately or use a bungee cord.

The specific hole spacing on the C bracket is not provided, but the overall dimensions of the rudder are approximately 47cm in length, 15.5cm in width, and 14.2cm in height.
