I'm Abigail Scott, an author, adventurer, and mother of three. When I'm not navigating the beautiful chaos of motherhood, you can find me tackling the turbulent waters as a professional whitewater kayaker or scaling impressive rock faces as a climbing guide. The rush of adrenaline, whether from kayaking or climbing, is a feeling I cherish deeply. But the thrill doesn't stop there; I capture the breathtaking allure of nature through my lens as a professional photographer. And when I'm not submerged in the wild, my software engineering skills amplify my outdoor pursuits, allowing me to harness technology in unique ways. Through my writings, whether articles or blog posts, I share not just my adventures but my heart, hoping to spark a flame of inspiration in others to break boundaries and experience the world's wonders.

Storm Chaser Splitboard - 2024

Description

Why We Like The Jones Snowboards Storm Chaser Splitboard

Packing ridiculous float into a short, stubby swallowtail, the Jones Snowboards Storm Chaser Splitboard excels at surfing across the deepest powder in low-angle trees, wide-open fields, and mellow backcountry terrain.

Based on the surfing premise that shorter shapes can be significantly widened for exemplary float and faster glide, the Storm Chaser Split planes across powder like a much larger board, but without the truck-like turning radius in tight glades.

Considering its dramatic Surf Rocker profile, its Traction Tech edges on both the inner and outer edges of the board drastically increase edge hold for heading up icy ascents.

Jones' lightweight yet ultra-durable construction makes it easy and efficient to head to far objectives and still keep us energetic for a fun ride down. Karakoram Ultra Clips tighten the connection between each half for a more uniform feel, and the Quick Tension Tail Clip attaches to Jones' climbing skins for better security.
