HandiRack Inflatable Soft Roof Rack Bars

HandiRack Inflatable Soft Roof Rack Bars

Description

The HandiRack Universal Inflatable Soft Roof Rack Bars are a convenient and versatile solution for transporting gear such as surfboards and paddle boards. This inflatable roof rack is designed to be a smart alternative to foam blocks or metal roof rack cross bars.

Installation is quick and easy, with no tools required. The kayak roof rack can be fitted in just minutes using the pass-through strap to secure the soft roof rack pads. If you need help with the installation process, there is a video available for reference.

With a thoughtful design, this surfboard rack is suitable for cars with or without rails and panoramic roofs. The aero design helps to reduce vibrations and wind noise, ensuring a smoother and quieter ride. Additionally, the car rack carrier is portable and easily removable when not in use.

The HandiRack Universal Inflatable Soft Roof Rack Bars are truly universal, fitting 2, 3, 4, and 5-door models from various auto makers such as Chevy, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Jeep, Mazda, Nissan, and Toyota. If you have any questions or need advice regarding compatibility with your vehicle, the manufacturer encourages you to reach out for support. Please note that this product is not suitable for vehicles with soft tops or side curtain airbags.

Safety is a priority with this inflatable roof rack. The inflation process creates a stable connection, and there are 5 metal integrated 'D' ring anchor points to secure loads up to 175lbs. The air cushions provided with the rack also help to protect your equipment during transportation.

Made with premium quality materials, this kayak car rack utilizes heavy-duty non-abrasive 400D nylon and the metal parts are treated with an anti-corrosion coating. To provide peace of mind, the product comes with a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

Included in the package are 2 x HandiRack sets, 1 x HandiPump, 2 x 10ft tie down straps, 2 x 11ft Bow and Stern lines, a drawstring storage bag, and a detailed User Manual.

Frequently Asked Questions:

- Question: Hello, Will this work on a BMW 335i hard top convertible to carry a surfboard?
Answer: I think that I should test this for you for a few weeks in the Virgin Islands. Would you please ship the car to St. Croix and I will try it out in April and May. More seriously, there would be some lift from the board on the structure - especially at highway speeds. I'm not sure whether the structure of the hardtop is set up to handle lift. As far as whether you could fasten the rack and the surfboard to it, it appears that would work. You would have some water leakage in heavy rain or rain at highway speeds, I'm sure. But that's usually a minor concern if you're just putting it on for a day at the beach.

- Question: Has anyone used this on a Jeep JK (4 door) with the top off, using the inflatable roof racks on the roll bars?
Answer: This rack worked well on a conventional car roof top, as the top of each door frame traps the canvas strap to the car body once closed. As far as I remember, on a Jeep with the top off, there is no door frame to trap the canvas against the body. Sorry, this may not help, but the door frame is critical with this kind of rack to make it stable.

- Question: Will it work on a Toyota Avalon?
Answer: Hi Janet. I use the Malone HR on my 1999 Avalon...works great. It easily adapts to virtually any other vehicle. I use mine to transport an 18-foot canoe. The only cautionary note is that you should be sure to clean the top of your vehicle so that you avoid slight scratches from possible sand and grit on your car from rubbing under the rack's bladder. I have used it on my vehicle since 2000, and it has worked perfectly. Jerry

- Question: Will it fit on my Chevy Aveo LT 2011? Also, can I carry plywood?
Answer: Hello. Yes, the HandiRack will fit fine on your Chevy Aveo LT 2011. Transporting plywood is not an issue. Best wishes, The HandiWorld Team
