Palmyth UV Fishing Gloves

Palmyth UV Fishing Gloves

Description

Palmyth UV Fishing Gloves Fingerless Kayaking Glove is a great choice for those who want protection without the bulk. These half finger gloves have shortened fingers and a shortened wrist, making them natural on the water. They are certified UPF 50+ and SPF UV Protection, woven into the fabric rather than added with artificial spray-on chemicals. With these gloves, you can protect your hands from sunburn, skin toughening, and aging.

The gloves feature a full synthetic leather palm and non-slip silicone dots for a better grip and durability. There's also an extra layer of synthetic leather in the palm to improve grip on fishing rods, paddles, or trekking poles. These gloves help prevent painful blisters and cushion your hands as you row, allowing you to push yourself harder and longer for maximum fun. If you are looking for kayaking gloves, these are the ideal choice.

The gloves are made from stretchy, lightweight, breathable, and quick-drying fabric. In fact, wearing these gloves actually keeps your hands cooler and drier compared to not wearing gloves at all. The half finger length increases flexibility, and the adjustable Hook & Loop wrist strap ensures a secure fit for any size wrist. You can keep these gloves on all day long, and you hardly notice wearing them.

Removing the gloves is easy, even when they are wet, thanks to the finger-tip pull tabs. The fingerless design allows for maneuverability and dexterity, making these gloves suitable for fishing, kayaking, hiking, paddling, rowing, driving, canoeing, paddle boarding, cycling, and other outdoor sporting activities, particularly water sports.

The gloves are machine washable, so you can easily clean them after strenuous activity. Pair them with other UV clothing like Palmyth sun hats, Palmyth sun sleeves, and Palmyth sun gaiters for total sun protection. The breathable fabric always retains its sun protectiveness, making these gloves 100% suitable for fishermen, anglers, sailors, hunters, kayakers, hikers, outdoor athletes, and people with possible skin cancer issues.

These gloves are really comfortable and great for kayaking. They make handling the paddle so easy and keep your palm cushioned, preventing blisters. They are also lightweight and soft, so they would provide a light amount of cushion for pushing a wheelchair. The colors are nice, with the blue being particularly pretty.

While these gloves do not offer extensive wrist support, they are still highly praised for their comfort. If you need additional wrist support, you can consider using wraps that are commonly used for weightlifting. However, many users consider these gloves to be the best they have ever had.

These gloves are highly recommended for swimming and any other outdoor activities. They are lightweight but offer excellent protection from UV rays. Many users have reported that they haven't broken out or gotten any sunburn on their hands since wearing these gloves. So, if you struggle with sunburned hands and find that sunscreen doesn't provide enough protection, these gloves are a great solution.

Regarding sizing, a men's medium size would be equivalent to a women's large. So, if you are a woman looking for a size that would fit you well, a women's large would be the closest size to consider.

Frequently Asked Questions

Would these be good for pushing a wheel chair to protect and cushion the palm?

These gloves are really comfortable-I love them for kayaking, makes the paddle so easy to handle & keeps my palm cushioned-no blisters & can kayak in comfort for much longer. This said, I feel that they would be very comfortable for pushing a wheel chair with just a light amount of cushion to your palm. They are very lightweight & soft. Both colors nice but blue very pretty!

any wrist support?

Not overly, but it depends what you need. I love these gloves, but if you need additional wrist support, perhaps the wraps that we use to lift weights? These are the best gloves I've had though.

Would you recommend them for swimming? I cant get sun for more than 5 minutes ontop of hands, or i get sunburned and sunscreen doesnt protect either.

Yes, I would most definitely recommend these gloves for swimming! In all honesty, I would recommend these for driving, kayaking, hiking or any other outdoor activities! They are light weight but offer protection from the UV Ray's!!! They are one of the best purchases I have ever made! I haven't broken out or gotten any sunburn on my hands since I've been wearing these this summer!!!

What size would a women's large be? There appears to be no delineation between men and women's sizes

I am a guy and I ordered a size medium which would be a close equivalent to a woman's large - I know this from past experience.
