I'm Abigail Scott, an author, adventurer, and mother of three. When I'm not navigating the beautiful chaos of motherhood, you can find me tackling the turbulent waters as a professional whitewater kayaker or scaling impressive rock faces as a climbing guide. The rush of adrenaline, whether from kayaking or climbing, is a feeling I cherish deeply. But the thrill doesn't stop there; I capture the breathtaking allure of nature through my lens as a professional photographer. And when I'm not submerged in the wild, my software engineering skills amplify my outdoor pursuits, allowing me to harness technology in unique ways. Through my writings, whether articles or blog posts, I share not just my adventures but my heart, hoping to spark a flame of inspiration in others to break boundaries and experience the world's wonders.

Is this perfect for the intex challenger k1? Only directions are what it says here! It says put the elastic around the nose of your yak but my elastic is not centered, if I do that, my "window" is not horizontal like the photos. Also there's an extra line with 2 hooks & a tightener that I cannot figure out so when one end came untied I just removed the whole bit. It may work by hooking the 2 short lines with carabiners to the nose handle, then putting the long lines over my head & around my back for steering. We'll see. I'll give it a shot. I bought 2 others as gifts, I'm curious if everyone's elastic is off center by over a foot! Also, if the elastic goes around the nose of the yak & the wind is presumably blowing from behind, wouldn't it just push the sail forward & yank the elastic off? I think my way will be better, if it works at all.

Do you need a mount kit for a kayak wind sail? Only directions are what it says here! Can this be used with inflatable kayaks? Possibly if there are anchors to attach it. It didn't work that well for me as the upper strap tends to hit you in the head. Steering my kayak was tough because the straps were always in the way.

I bought two of these and broke them both trying to fold them back up. I wonder if there is a little repair piece to the outside loop? tube? It doesn’t come with one but maybe you can use a tent pole repair kit? Or try the hardware store, they have lots of tubing options. Word of caution, the loop may be made of fiberglass so wear gloves when handling. Hope this helps!
