I'm Abigail Scott, an author, adventurer, and mother of three. When I'm not navigating the beautiful chaos of motherhood, you can find me tackling the turbulent waters as a professional whitewater kayaker or scaling impressive rock faces as a climbing guide. The rush of adrenaline, whether from kayaking or climbing, is a feeling I cherish deeply. But the thrill doesn't stop there; I capture the breathtaking allure of nature through my lens as a professional photographer. And when I'm not submerged in the wild, my software engineering skills amplify my outdoor pursuits, allowing me to harness technology in unique ways. Through my writings, whether articles or blog posts, I share not just my adventures but my heart, hoping to spark a flame of inspiration in others to break boundaries and experience the world's wonders.

Columbia's rain jackets work around the clock to protect you from the outdoor elements. This Columbia Men's Watertight II Jacket is a rainy-day staple for its lightweight, waterproof and breathable design. The details of this jacket are essential for any rainy day.

Crafted of 100% nylon material, this rain jacket is guaranteed to be waterproof; the seam-sealed construction keeps you dry while sealing the cold air out. Zippered pockets are featured on each side to secure your small items. Adjustable, velcro cuffs and an adjustable drawcord hem help give this jacket a customizable fit. Lastly, the packable silhouette makes storing this staple easy.

This packable rain jacket is available in a range of sizes and colors to accommodate many styles and fits. To ensure the size you choose is just right, utilize our sizing chart and the following measurement instructions: for the sleeves, start at the center back of your neck and measure across the shoulder and down to the wrist. If you come up with a partial number, round up to the next even number. For the chest, measure at the fullest part of the chest, under the armpits and over the shoulder blades, keeping the tape measure firm and level.

  • About the size of a football field folded a million times πŸ™‚

The hood does not fold up into the collar. The entire jacket "folds" up into one of the side pockets.

The XLT would have a sleeve measurement of about 38;, neck 17.5-18 --chest measurement 46-49" and waist 40-43".

Not fleece lined I would consider this a warm weather jacket only. It is very European cut so unless you are very slight in build I highly recommend going a size up if you want to wear a lining. I am a natural med/lg with average shoulders and chest and the large is really too small for me especially if I am wearing a heavy shirt underneath. Keep in min if you are trying to keep any part of you dry from the waist down this is not a good jacket! Columbia has some rain pants and I think this is the top for those.
