Magic Plus Kayak Paddle

Description

The Carlisle Magic Plus Kayak Paddle with Polypropylene Blades and Wrapped Fiberglass Shaft is a top-quality paddle for kayaking enthusiasts. It is designed to provide a smooth and efficient paddling experience.

One of the standout features of this paddle is its lightweight and durable glass-filled polypropylene blades. These blades are not only strong but also lightweight, making it easier to maneuver through the water.

The blade shape is asymmetrical and slightly curved, which further enhances the efficiency of each stroke. This design allows for a smoother and more effective paddling experience.

The wrapped fiberglass shaft is another notable feature of this paddle. It is lightweight and strong, providing excellent durability. Additionally, the fiberglass shaft is more comfortable to hold in both hot and cold temperatures, ensuring a comfortable grip throughout your kayak adventures.

The ovalized shaft is designed to help you index the proper grip area, allowing for better control and comfort during your paddling sessions.

This paddle also features a no-fail push-button takedown system, which allows you to feather the blades at 60 degrees or set them inline. This feature provides versatility and ease of use, catering to both right-handed and left-handed users.

Now, let's address some commonly asked questions about the Carlisle Magic Plus Kayak Paddle:

- "I just got this paddle. Why does the right grip have extra cushion (larger diameter grip) than the left grip?"

I have the same paddle, except mine has a carbon fiber handle. The right grip having extra cushion could be because the one shaft's male end has to be inserted into the slightly larger female end. This difference in size could be the logical reason behind the variation in grip size.

- "What are the width and length of the blade?"

According to nrs.com, the blade size is listed as 17.78cm wide and 44.45cm long (7 inches wide and 17.5 inches long).

- "What is the size of the blade?"

The blade is 18 inches long and 7 1/4 inches wide.

- "Does this paddle have hand grips?"

The paddle has rubber parts that prevent water from getting you wet. You simply hold the paddle with your hands, and the rubber parts act as a grip to ensure a secure hold.

In conclusion, the Carlisle Magic Plus Kayak Paddle with Polypropylene Blades and Wrapped Fiberglass Shaft offers a lightweight, durable, and comfortable paddle option for kayakers. Its efficient blade shape, wrapped fiberglass shaft, and versatile feathering feature make it a highly recommended choice for both beginner and experienced paddlers.
