BKCPK11 Fishing Kayak + Trolling Motor

BKCPK11 Fishing Kayak + Trolling Motor

Description

With two ways to cruise, the BKC PK11 is one of the Brooklyn Kayak Company’s #1 most exciting single kayaks. Those two ways are the paddle that comes included with your yak, and a built-in trolling motor that lets you cruise effortlessly whether you’re logging miles downriver or creeping slowly in search of the next bite.

The PK11’s streamlined, roto-molded, and UV-protected HDPE hull measures 10.5-feet long and 34 inches wide, an ideal ratio for stability and speed. The kayak can cut through chop, slide over still water, or ride the current with equal grace. And as it weighs only 68 pounds with the motor, carrying your PK11 overland is easy when you grab onto the built-in handles on the sides or the bow and stern of the hull.

Steering is managed with a hand-operated rudder that lets you easily navigate your way on the river, around the docks, or as you make a quick turn to chase a fish putting up quite a fight. Your fishing rods can be managed by built-in rod holders that let you keep multiple lines in the water at once hands free, while your gear can be stashed in two different sealed hatches or secured down with bungees in the rear cargo space, which is large enough for a cooler or dry bag.

The stable, steady hull can accommodate the total combined user and gear weight up to 420 pounds and resists tipping even in rough water conditions, making the BKC PK11 a great kayak for multi-day trips on rivers and for use in bay and ocean conditions. Scupper holes let you quickly drain any water that splashes aboard, while the ergonomic and adjustable seat raises up above the hull, helping keep you dry and comfortable as you ply the waters.
