Experience the Best Fishing Charters with Capt. Brad Simonds at Southpaw Fishing

Capt. Brad Simonds is the proud owner and operator of Southpaw Fishing Charters. Join him on exhilarating fishing adventures aboard a 43' custom-built Torres Sportfisher, expertly crafted by renowned boat builder Claude Torres in 2002. Equipped with a powerful 700 HP Lugger diesel engine, this vessel boasts top-of-the-line navigational and marine electronics, including a GPS/Chart plotter, multiple fish finders and depth sounders, VHF radios, and a Northstar and Simrad radar.

Southpaw's innovative two-tiered livewell system ensures an ample supply of live bait throughout your trip. Inside the cabin, you'll find a comfortable seating area with a dinette and spacious cushioned bench. One standout feature of Southpaw is its Tuna tower, which provides the crew with a competitive advantage in various fishing techniques year-round.

Hailing from Massachusetts, Capt. Brad has over 30 years of experience as a captain. He started his career running a 55' Holton out of Key Largo and spending springs on the Yucatan Peninsula. After working on both private and corporate charters, Brad ventured out on his own and established Southpaw Fishing Charters in 2002.

At Southpaw, the crew specializes in light tackle live bait fishing, trolling, kite fishing, and bottom and wreck fishing for a wide range of pelagic and resident game fish found in the area. This includes Billfish, Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Kingfish, Snapper, Grouper, and more. Additionally, they offer customizable fishing trips such as bluewater fly fishing, live bait kite fishing, tournament sportfishing, night Snapper or Swordfish excursions, as well as long-range trips to the Tortugas and beyond.
