RiverPeople Guides is a small guiding business offering guided fishing trips in Calgary, Alberta, and Patagonia. With Captain Osman Hamzic as your guide, prepare for an unforgettable experience exploring Rocky Mountain streams and the upper and lower Bow River—truly remarkable sights.

Our available packages include regular drift boat trips, jet boat and wading trips. RPG is comprised of 5 experienced guides accommodating up to 10 people.

While the Bow River is exquisitely beautiful, as depicted in our photos, no words can compare to experiencing the landscape firsthand. The upper Bow River is a scenic treasure with an abundance of wildlife and awe-inspiring vistas. The lower Bow River, on the other hand, is renowned for its world-class Trout fishing.

Captain Osman, a passionate fly fisherman, is eager to share his tips and tricks with all his guests. Each trip includes fly fishing gear, PFDs, coaching, snacks, nonalcoholic drinks, and shuttle service. Guests are required to bring a standard province license, as well as polarized sunglasses and a hat.

If you prefer using your own gear, feel free to bring your fly fishing gear or spin casters and artificials (please note that a 'no live bait' policy is in effect). On full day trips, a delicious hot lunch will be served on the riverbank, and can also be provided if requested for jet boat trips.
