Ordered 3 of these and all 3 have right hand shaft lightly crushed to an oval. Is this supposed to be for fatigue, and why only the right side?
This is called indentation, we use this so paddler know exactly where to place their hand (only on one side) which will give you a better grip and less fatigue
Is the blade feather shaped?
No. It's the same blade.
Has anyone received a paddle that is bent to an oval and had a successful exchange? I'm on my second set, still bent and wondering if it will work?
The oval part is meant for better grip. It’s supposed to be oval shaped near the hand grips. It lessens fatigue. I love mine works great!
