FAQs:

I disagree with the previous posts. I used them to hike down a very muddy and rocky trail to the Queens Bath in Kauai, and they were perfect. Tennis shoes are a terrible idea for hiking. The mesh confirms to your foot and does not irritate or rub. The barefoot feel helped me navigate the rocky terrain; protecting my feet and allowing me to feel the ground beneath me. The holes in the bottom allowed me to rinse the mud out and dry quickly.

I just received mine. I am a true 9.5 women's and was sent a Men's size 8. I just looked at other conversion charts online, and they recommend a men's size 7.5 instead. They are snug around my feet, but almost 3/4-1 inch too long. I would recommend at a half size lower. I use these shoes for kayaking, and I don't need any extra length in the toe box for getting in and out of my kayak. Hope this helps!

There is an inner sole. It is an orange, spongy material that is perforated throughout with holes that are spaced about 1/4" apart. That base is covered with a very thin, yellow, plastic mesh. Over time, the yellow mesh will detach from the spongy base and will need to be either reattached or removed.

I would recommend a size 7 regular. The shoes fit snuggly to your feet, and you shouldn't get them too small. If you're walking in them, they will suffice.

  • The ventilation holes in Mishansha kayak water shoes are drainage holes if you get wet. The Mishansha kayak water shoes provide good drainage.
