Jammy Prusik: Enhancing Safety for Rappelling and Hauling

When it comes to climbing, rappelling can be the most dangerous part. But with Beal’s Jammy Prusik, you can eliminate any uncertainties. Designed with your safety as the top priority, the Jammy ensures you won't have to worry about botched knots.

Crafted from a rope featuring a nylon sheath and aramid core, this climbing sling weighs less than an ounce while adding an extra layer of safety to your climbing adventures.

The recommended prusik knot for the Jammy is the Machard, but it also serves as a speedy rope clamp for efficient hauling. The rope's resilient material resists heat and damage caused by friction, providing a firm grip on thinner rap ropes.

While the Jammy's primary purpose is to enhance safety during rappelling or hauling, it is not suitable for excessive whipping or for bearing weight with gear.

Key Features:

  • Lightweight and durable prusik sling for rappelling and hauling activities
  • High heat resistance against rope friction
  • Seam sewn and reinforced with a heat-shrunk sleeve for added durability
  • Recommended knots include the Machard and braided Machard
