Our fishing vessel is a 21’ Carolina skiff powered by a 115 HP Yamaha outboard engine. This versatile boat is perfect for inshore, nearshore, and backcountry fishing. It can accommodate up to 4 anglers and supports various fishing techniques. For trolling, up to 2 anglers can fish simultaneously. Safety equipment and essential electronics are available on board for your peace of mind.

Mermaidtales Charter Fishing will take you to the finest fishing and scalloping spots. Depending on the trip, you'll have the opportunity to target a wide range of species, including Redfish, Snook, Mangrove Snapper, Gag Grouper, Cobia, and more. If you'd like to enjoy snorkeling during the hot summer days, simply inform the captain in advance, and snorkeling equipment will be provided.

Fishing gear is well taken care of. We provide top-of-the-line St. Croix rods, Shimano reels, and a selection of tackle, lures, and live bait. Live shrimp is included in each trip, and if available, the captain will also offer fresh bait from his traps. All you need to bring are your own beverages and snacks (water and ice will be provided), non-spray sunscreen, and sunglasses. Captain Robert will take care of the rest!
