Fireline Fishing: Inshore & Lake Fishing Guide Service in Washington NC | Eastern NC Species | Captain Caylin Burrell

Fireline Fishing is a professional inshore, river, and lake fishing guide service located in Washington North Carolina. Our team specializes in targeting various species of fish across eastern NC. The specific time, location, and targeted species will be determined by several factors, but Captain Caylin Burrell will strive to schedule your trip during peak fishing periods.

From the spring spawn of Striped Bass in the Roanoke River to Big Red Drum in the Pamlico Sound during the fall, you'll have excellent opportunities to make impressive catches. Fireline Fishing is an insured and family-oriented guide service committed to providing you with the best possible fishing experience. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced angler, we have a trip tailored to your needs.

Your adventure begins aboard a restored 22’ Privateer Bay boat. This vessel can accommodate up to 4 guests and is equipped with a 135 HP Mercury Outboard engine, capable of reaching a maximum cruising speed of 35 knots. Our boat utilizes modern GPS and fish finder technology to navigate you safely and efficiently to the best fishing spots. Additionally, we have a wireless trolling motor for a stealthy approach, as well as a live well to provide you with live bait.

During your trip, you'll have the opportunity to chase a variety of species, including Spotted Seatrout, Bluefish, Red Drum, Black Drum, Sheeps Head, and Striped Bass. We employ various fishing techniques such as bottom fishing, trolling, jigging, popping corks, and using artificial and live bait. We also offer options for fly fishing and drift fishing. Kids are welcome to join, and you are allowed to keep your catch within legal regulations.

Captain Caylin will supply all the necessary bait and tackle for your trip, and will clean and fillet your catch. You only need to bring a valid fishing license and a small cooler for drinks and snacks. If you prefer to fly fish, please bring your own gear.
