Fallen Leaf Lake Marina is a water lover's paradise. There are no words to explain this incredible paddling adventure. The crystal-clear water of Fallen Leaf Lake makes it one of the most beautiful alpine lakes in the world.

Reflected pictures are cast onto the lake's surface when the water is motionless and smooth.

Fallen Leaf Lake Marina is a water lover's paradise.

Fallen Leaf Lake Marina is a water lover's paradise.

Fallen Leaf Lake is one of the most sociable paddling destinations in the area, nestled among mountain tops overlooking the lake's southern half. The lake is a deep, midnight blue, and the surrounding mountains are crowned with snow and covered in towering pines, depending on the season. Whether a beginner or an experienced paddler, this fresh, crystal water lake is ideal for kayaking. It provides a more intimate paddling experience than the larger Lake Tahoe nearby. The afternoon winds that sweep across the lake are typically protected.

Hiking routes and a campground are available. Fallen Leaf Lake offers a variety of recreational opportunities, including kayak fishing. Fallen Leaf lake, three miles long and just under three-quarters of a mile broad has around ten miles of shoreline to troll for rainbow trout.

So for newbie kayak riders out there, one of the things that I’d highly recommend you to do is to learn how to get out of a capsized kayak. You’ll never know when you’re going to need the knowledge.

About my story, these are the lessons I hope to convey. Despite meeting an accident of this kind, I know that I will always love kayaking because kayaking is a sport that has brought me joy for many years. There is only one thing I have to ensure is that I learn from my mistakes to avoid the same problems happening again.

    Things we don't like:

    • Many customers have noted that the oars aren't of the best quality.
    • Some customers have said that the paddles are not that great either.
    • A lot of people have complained that the aluminum paddles are weak.
    • The kayak comes with these items; however, you can replace them with better products as long as they are merely included.
