THURSO SURF Inflatable SUP

Description

The THURSO SURF Inflatable Stand Up Paddle Board All-Around SUP is our largest all-around inflatable paddle board. It features a touring shape that gives extra paddling speed while maintaining the stability of an all-around board. The board size is perfect for carrying a dog, doing yoga, or using for fishing now and then. It is the ideal first paddle board for beginners and is fun for intermediate/advanced paddlers. The size of the board is 11' x 32'' x 6'' and it weighs 26 lbs. It has a recommended/maximum capacity of 160-210/330 lbs.

The THURSO SURF inflatable SUP boasts the strongest iSUP structure available on the market. It features Double Layer construction with a woven drop-stitch inner core and a Military Grade outer PVC tarpaulin layer. The side rails are reinforced with PVC seams to prevent delamination. Carbon reinforcement rails are also added to make the paddleboard even more rigid. As a result, THURSO SURF SUP boards are durable, stiff, light, and perform like hardboard.

The included Carbon shaft paddle is the best paddle found in any iSUP package. It is stronger, lighter, and floats when assembled. The blade is made of tough carbon-nylon hybrid composite strengthened by a center rib to prevent warping. The shaft and blade lock together with both a pin and clasp to eliminate separating or twisting. It is adjustable from 71'' to 87'' and can be converted to a kayak paddle with an extra blade (sold separately).

Details matter to THURSO SURF, and they take pride in including premium accessories as standard in all of their SUP packages. The Dual Chamber Triple Action pump is 100% faster than a single chamber pump, saving you time and energy. It can also deflate your SUP paddle board to ease packing. The roller backpack is constructed with durable Oxford cloth and has wheels located at the front for a more comfortable carry. The premium 10 ft coiled leash is essential for safe paddling.

Top Engineering + Best Materials + Deluxe Accessories + Second-to-None Service = THURSO SURF. All of their products go through numerous analyses and tests before finalization of their materials, shapes, and designs. They stand behind their products 100% and offer a two-year warranty on the board. If any manufacturer defect is found within 24 months of purchase, they've got you covered.

FAQs:

How many psi should I use?

Hi Peter, thanks for asking. The recommended pressure for typical use is 12 to 15 psi. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have further questions. - Thurso Surf

I see 3 fins in the picture and the description talks about a 2+1 fin system, so does it have one, two, or three fins?

Hi Kristi, thanks for asking. We changed it to 3 fins in July 2017, one large fin and two small fins. They all feature the Quick Lock system that can be locked without any tools. - Thurso Surf

What are the performance differences between the 10'6" and the 11'? Why get one over the other?

Generally speaking, the longer a board, the faster it goes, the more stable it is, and easier to paddle. It will probably surf half way decently, but I have not tried that yet.

Why only one fin? Is it stable?

UPDATE: We've changed the fin to the 2+1 configuration in July 2017. Thanks. Hi Linda, the single-fin that comes with the board provides minimum drag and helps the board track straight. The fin makes the board perfect for flat water cruising or slightly choppy water touring. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have further questions. Thanks - Thurso Surf
