Why We Like The Ortovox Peak Light 40L Backpack
Built for peak performance on mountaineering expeditions, ski tours, and peak bagging bids, the Ortovox Peak Light Backpack is constructed with Ortovox's lightest and most durable materials, ensuring that our weight is kept down as the difficulty level rises.
Opting for a minimalist design, Ortovox has eliminated superfluous details to keep the weight down. For even further weight reduction, we have the option to remove the hip belt, lid, back reinforcement, pick holder, and D-Skifix.
Despite its lightweight design, the 40-liter capacity of the backpack provides ample room for layers and gear. The circumferential zipper allows easy access to everything we need for our mountain adventures.
In addition to the main storage compartment, the backpack offers extra storage options, including a convenient rope carry, ice axe and trekking pole attachments, a helmet net, and either diagonal or side fastening for our skis.
