Hi, The sail mainsheet is held in your hand or tied your vessel while you steer with your paddle. Some kayaks have rudders but it is not included with the kit.

Hello, you could adapt this sail to your kayak without drilling holes (using hand holds) or consider the Serenity kayak sail which is designed to be 100% strapped on. Happy sailing!😀

For this model the screw eye is installed at the very front of your vessel. Instead of a screw eye you can use the front handle or any anchor point you can think of.
