These hooks are made in China. If you are using them indoors, they might be okay. I have been using them for a 30 lb kayak and 3 kayak paddles indoors.

You can attach the hooks to the steel posts of a dock. The kayak hook has 2 screw holes, and the holes are 5.5mm. You can fix it on the iron post by bolts, or fix the attach hanger on the iron post by oxygen welding.

We hung 2 10' long kayaks and 1 12' kayak from the brackets. The 10 footer points are wide, so we suspect your older town kayaks will be fine if stored on their sides.
